The following is a standard maintenance procedure:
- Clean the interior of the embedded barrel and remove any sediment using a water pump or vacuum pump.
- Clean the drainage system at the bottom of the embedded barrel and clean and lubricate the bollard lifting rails.
- Inspect the bottom impact pads and replace any damage.
- Inspect the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder for leaks and the screws on the rising bollard for tightness. Clean the cylinder and repaint it if possible.
- Inspect the hydraulic pump unit, refill the unit with the required hydraulic oil, and check operating pressure and other parameters.
- Verify that the safety pressure switch (40 kg) is functioning properly. Use a test ground sensor coil to test the magnetic switch both independently and continuously.
