Semi-automatic Bollard Installation Method

Contents

When people are torn between choosing manual or automatic retractable bollards, semi-automatic bollards might be a good option. Semi-automatic bollards retain the impact-resistant advantages of automatic bollards while not requiring electricity to raise. They are suitable for parks, parking lots, driveways, garages, residential areas, and more.

Below is the installation method for automatic bollards.

  1. At the vehicle access point, excavate a square trench to accommodate the semi automatic bollard.
  2. Pre-install the bollard body. Typically, maintain a center-to-center spacing of no more than 1.5 meters. Adjust spacing according to specific site requirements.
  3. Implement drainage via manual or electric pumping systems. Alternatively, connect directly to the sewer system for natural drainage.
  4. Reserve a small drainage channel at the center bottom of the trench for water discharge. Fill the base with concrete, ensuring the bollard top surface aligns flush with the ground level.
