The power drive unit comprises an electric motor and a trigger mechanism housed within an electrical control box at one end. During operation, the trigger activates the motor to rotate the shaft, raising the tire-puncturing spikes (approximately at a 75-degree angle to the ground). The trigger mechanism is positioned for convenient operation.
